You can still send secrets in and what ever but, they wont be posted for a couple of weeks. We are just not doing this anymore, this drama, is alot for us. We DO NOT think we are important fans. We DO NOT think we know everything but clearly some of you do. Hopefully sooner than later we will be back, OCS girls.

Look at it this way: it's like a million chick fans for [[4]] guys, of COURSE there's gonna be drama, negativity, and positivity! (That's kind of the reason why we come to check it out over and over again.. haha) Besides, these are "secrets", naturally, people like to get emotional with these. And the reason why those people won't stop bothering is because you follow them along. OBVIOUSLY, they're getting what they want...

I've been thinking about this since this post was put up. I have absolutely nothing against the JEM girls, nor against any of the other fans.
ReplyDeleteI know that everyone on this site is NO stranger to these "secrets" pages. The first time I ever saw one was a few years ago. It was called "McFLY Secrets" and it's still going strong today. There have been Menudo Secrets, VFC Secrets, NLT Secrets, etc. And on each one, we send in these "secrets" anonymously. Because that's an option, people don't hold back. It's obvious some kind of fighting and drama is going to start.
The closer we become as a fan community, sometimes the worse it gets. I know from viewing the site "McFLY Secrets" secrets now are very rarely about the four members of the band, but are nearly always about other fans. I don't want that to happen here.
I think it's a good idea for the JEM girls to seek a more secure site that will prevent things like that happening. I hope the site becomes more popular, and doesn't lose it's fun, but becomes a happier place for us fans to talk about four of our favourite boys.
I hope this new site will allow the anonymity of sending in the secrets, but the safety of an identity within the comments.
There's only so many things the JEM girls ca do to protect themselves, the boys, and the other fans. It's not fair that they are victimized for some things, nor that other fans are victimized for different things.
We're all big fans of these boys, and whether we like to admit it or not, we do care about their personal lives. Whether we let that affect how we feel about them is up to us. Personally, as long as Justin, Jose, AG, and Chris are happy, I don't care who they date, if they so choose to date anyone. Of course we all wish we were that lucky girl, but that's just not possible. We can't all be dating our favourite member.
So I say good luck to the JEM girls. I know everything will work out with the site, and I can't wait until it gets back up and running. But I hope everyone remembers that the site won't be successful without our support, so we have to stick by the girl's decisions if we still want our secrets.
