she hangs out with one call all the time.
her and chris are suddenly really good friends now that him & justin are in a group together.

and obviously if you were to ask them or one of their friends if they're dating they'd say no, because they're trying to keep their relationship a secret as long as they can.
my best firend is not a girl but a boy and we hang out together nearly every day. lots of ppl think that we are dating but we are not it's just that we get on very well with each other. so it may be the same with justin and ashley. even though ashley was with nlt on bandemonium this doesn't mean that she was there because she was his gf, after all she was in their first video. and she may have taken jj to the lakers just because she knows that he's crazy about them. 'double date' doesn't mean anything, it was obvious that the guy was joking, otherwise he wouldn't have said 'u buyin?'.
